Building Futures!

Our students had the opportunity to explore the Cairn Mobile Training Centre a hands-on mobile unit showcasing a range of apprenticeships, including Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, Bricklaying, Ceilings, and Innovation.

The interactive workshop, delivered by Ollie and Noel from Mount Lucas (LOETB), provided students with a genuine insight into the world of construction. From learning about in-demand skills and qualities to exploring career progression, salaries, and entry requirements, the session connected classroom learning to real-world opportunities. ‍️‍️

This experience opened our students’ eyes to the many exciting career paths available through apprenticeships and may even have sparked a few future builders, electricians, and innovators!
