Pastoral Care

The Pastoral Care of each student in all aspects of their well-being and development is a central principle in the philosophy of Presentation Secondary School. There is a Pastoral Care Team in the school. The team assist students who experience difficulties or stresses.

There is a Year Head for each year and class teachers are assigned to each class.

The School Chaplain and the schools Pastoral Care Team assists class teachers to create a positive classroom atmosphere and run Pastoral Programmes, Anti-bullying and Drug Awareness Programmes.

Guidance Counsellor

Our Counsellor will see students as a class group or individually, if required.

Special Educational Needs

A Resource Teacher is available to cater for students with special educational needs. A SEN Co-ordinator processes and monitors students that have Psychological Reports and those that require reasonable accommodations in State Exams.

Homework and Study

The school provides facilities for after-school study from 4-6pm daily. This study is supervised and students pay a fee to attend.
