Inter school Cross Country Competition

What a day! We can’t thank the competitors and volunteers enough, your efforts made the day sensational. Special shout out to the 5th Year LCA class who made all this possible and to Thurles Crokes Athletics; who guided us all the way. All schools out performed themselves with a lot of individual medals won and top ten finishes. Colaiste Abhrainn Rí Callan took home 2 individual medals but the depth of their team secured 2nd Overall Place. Colaiste Mhuire Johnstown only a few points behind secured 3rd Overall and a whopping 6 individual medals. Scoil Ruain Killenaule dominated in the senior categories and took home 5 individual medals Patrician Presentation Fethard with the smallest squad, but mighty, took home 2 individual medals. However, on the day with the home advantage and vast squad, Pres BG came out on top winning the Shield and bringing home 9 individual medals. Congratulations to everyone, you have made us extremely proud.
